LEADERSHIP
James Pirtle
President
James specializes in solving complex problems quickly. With nearly thirty years' experience in emergency services, ranging from HAZMAT to marine salvage, he brings a wealth of experience to any situation.
​
He has lifted more than 500 vessels, pipelines, and other heavy assets in every terrain imaginable. A frontline marine responder during Hurricanes Ivan and Katrina, typhoons, earthquakes, and multiple oil spills, containing and remediating damage caused by these disasters. James leaves no job unfinished, and believes that it is only when communities are made whole that his work is done.

Maureen Long, Ph. D.
Vice President, Finance and Administration
With twenty years' experience in project management and administration, Maureen leads Center Lift with a commitment to client satisfaction, exceeding expectations in all deliverables. Her focus on building systems designed with adaptability and efficiency at their core underpins Center Lift's ability to respond to diverse and often difficult landscapes. In both administration and finance, Maureen ensures that Center Lift is prepared to respond to every client's request quickly with the highest industry standards for safety while utilizing best practices.
TECHNICAL TEAM
Teamwork is our top priority.
Every Center Lift technician and operator has been carefully vetted and has trained in marine recovery work with industry titans. Many are former or current commercial divers, holding the certifications that prepare them to work quickly and precisely on grounded and sunken vessels, and submerged and damaged pipeline.
